The Big Picture. The Broad Brush.

“Focus on the big picture. Paint with the broad brush.” This is what Holy Spirit has been saying to me for the past few days. It’s his way of asking me to focus on my spirit’s point-of-view.
What does my spirit see? My spirit sees troves of revelation connected to a massive surge of power. The power is endless and constant. Like a waterfall flowing in a vast space, I cannot see where this power begins or ends. It just forcefully flows.
My spirit examines the power in depth. She is quite capable of harnessing it, but it takes a great deal of hope- a great deal of expectancy is involved. One of the biggest challenges for my spirit is continuously communicating this truth to my soul. “We must pull on and from the power with great strength. It is an endless source,” my spirit says.
I asked Holy Spirit, “How do I seize and utilize the power I see?” He said, “Too often, your soul forgets your spirit is enthroned in another realm and dimension. If you will allow your spirit to persistently lead over your soul, then you can channel the power you see.
When your soul leads, it drags you down. That downward pull puts up boundaries in your mind and you then see a small picture framed inside of the big picture we are building. Because the picture is small, you then pick up a small brush and begin to create from a very limited mindset.
I’ve never given you a small picture or a small brush. I’ve always provided you with a big picture and a broad brush. Yes, the big picture is easier understood with time and maturity; however, that is not an excuse to rope yourself off and operate from smallness.
Remember the fear of lack you once carried? I removed the iniquity and impurity from your heart and soul. From my point of view, your blood has been purified with the blood of Jesus. The power that the fear of lack had over you doesn’t exist anymore. Which is why, once they are removed, you should not return to them!
I replaced your fear of lack with faith and hope—trust and expectancy—for abundance. But there are moments when life happens and your soul starts to spiral. Your soul starts to remember what that fear of lack felt like. In these moments, your soul takes the lead and you throw up the boundaries of the small picture. Then you begin to paint with a small brush all of the “things that could go wrong” because the fear of lack is present.
In those moments, you must use your self-discipline and self-will. You must choose to live from your spirit. You must stop your thoughts, put down the small brush and return your head and heart to the big picture and the broad brush. Then, and only then will you be able to access the endless power source your spirit sees.
